Ayurvedic treatments have profound benefits without any side effects commonly found in western medicines. It is widely practiced in Kerala, India with profound natural and holistic benefits.
The aim of Kerala Ayurveda Academy is to pursue excellence in the application of the training of this rare and unique modality. We aim to provide the highest standards of professional massage teaching as well as a structure and support for our students to learn, grow and have a greater understanding of wellbeing.
The main objective of these courses is to provide you with a high-quality Authentic Ayurveda program as practiced traditionally in India. The training programs will give you many successful results with regards to your health and wellbeing which are based on important Ayurvedic aspects that can be used and implemented in your daily life. The Training program is specifically designed and implemented keeping in mind the ease of understanding with hands-on practical knowledge as passed on for generations.
Candidates shall undergo a course of professional study taught by qualified Ayurveda doctors and experienced Kerala Ayurveda therapists having in excess of 15 years’ experience.
The Therapist Training is 90% practical and is focussed around demonstration by a qualified Ayurveda Doctor and Therapist, student practice and feedback. This interactive learning allows students to experience the benefits of the treatment first hand and quickly correct mistakes that might come from learning each technique properly. After completing all levels there will be an opportunity to treat patients at one of our Kerala Ayurveda Centres.

– To give a full Ayurveda massage.
– Safety measures on how to position yourself to avoid injury.
– Indications and contra-indications for each technique.
– Principles of the integrated approach of Anatomy related to Ayurveda (based on the pressure points).
– Knowledge of how to choose different oils according to body constitution.
– Business advice on how to build a clientele and manage a massage practice.
– Best practices for an Ayurveda therapist.
– The theoretical and practical training will be delivered exclusively by Ayurvedic physicians with years of clinical practice and senior Ayurvedic Therapists who specialise in Panchakarma treatments; all practicing continuously in the well established Kerala Ayurveda Centres.
